Sophia Naylor

Sophia Naylor (writer/actor) is a playwright and actress delighted to be working with All Terrain Theater. Originally from Minneapolis, she is a recent graduate of Swarthmore College with a degree in Theater, where she focused on playwrighting, acting, Shakespeare, and dramaturgy. Her play Translation Transubstantiation was produced with Blank Slate Theatre, and her play All-One! had three readings produced by Swarthmore College. She has acted in numerous shows ranging from dramas to sketch comedy: most recently she played Solange in Genet’s The Maids, the title role in Gombrowicz’s Ivona, and was a member in Swarthmore’s sketch comedy group Boy Meets Tractor. She will be appearing in Palo Alto Player’s upcoming production of Sorkin’s The Farnsworth Invention and in an original one woman play premiering at the Minnesota Fringe Festival.
